Almost 2 months ago I met Leah Gibson,
happy farmer and owner at The Boxcar Farm & Garden in Maxwell, Texas. Our little family went to learn about the
terrain and take a peek of how this property would change when they had put
their permaculture design in action.
The following images show the property at the end of January, while setting up the gigantic berms in the mesquite field. Marking the way with paint and excavating.
The Boxcar Permablitz took place on February 27th &28th. This was the first time I had attended an event of this sort, and I was really compelled will all the camaraderie and positive energy that irradiated the event. Everyone was in the same tune: volunteer, smile, have a good time, learn and help the farm.
The next set of pictures show the work leaded by Earth Repair Corps and all the wonderful volunteers gathered by the same will.
